We offer guitar, bass, vocals, piano & beginner drum lessons.
The school is done on a semester system (September to January & February to June)
We offer Rock Camps on March Break & through the summer.
We have regular showcases at the end of each semester.

Our students perform at other occasions around the area such as
The Sounds of Downtown (produced by Arts Carleton Place),
Canada Day & other fundraising events.

Barry Buse is a founding member and musical director of the Mississippi Blues Society. His expertise on guitar, bass guitar and vocals is well known in the area. He is deeply committed to the furtherance of the Blues and has been involved in the Blues in the Schools programme as a performer and teacher. He has two CDs to his credit, a 1999 live recording with the Blues Brokers entitled "Bag Full of Blues" and "Most Roads" recorded in 2003 with his band the Bluesaholics. He toured with the Trevor Finlay Band in Australia in 2007. Locally you can hear him on the first Tuesday of each month at the Thirsty Moose.

Here's the SRC Music School gang in last year's Christmas Parade. The school won Best Float in the Almonte Parade and won a trophy from the Lions Club for best float for 2009.
